Career
I grew up in Murten (FR) and in 1993, I attended Matura in Freiburg. Between 1994 and 2008 I have lived mainly in Zurich, where I have studied computer science at the University of Applied Sciences. Thereafter I have graduated from a postcertificate course in IT-Security and Economy.
Since 1998 I have been professionally active in informatics. Currently I work as IT-Security engineer for Swisscom in Berne.
Travel
Interaction with our world cultures fascinates me greatly. I was doing an 11-month trip around the world after my studies in 2003. As a result of this and other travels I have toured the following countries: Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Morocco, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and India. 3 project trips to India: 2004, 2005, 2006

Hobbies
Aquatic- and mountain-sports are in my main leisure activities: windsurfing, climbing and snowboarding. I worked for one year in a carpentry while studying, and doing handicrafts is therefore one of my hobbies too.
